I took this picture 9 years ago (ack!) on a standard 35mm camera, but I think it’s gorgeous. Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has provided me with 100’s of photo opportunities because each season has it’s own beauty. This shot was taken just North of Marquette on the Dead River Basin. We were driving along on a color tour and suddenly came upon this view. It was breathtaking.

That’s beyond pretty – that is fantastic and beautiful! What an amazing shot!
Love it. I miss very little about this girl I dated in college, but her parents had a cottage on Lake Stella in the U.P. It was a GREAT place to go…and the “cottage” was more like a regular-sized house. We had the best time there.
What a beautiful photo! I love being able to take a million pics with my digital camera, but it’s hard to re-create what we used to get on film, eh? Ah, autumn … we don’t get too much of that out here in Cali …. glad we are back in touch, my friend 🙂 xoxoxo
