BYOB

Our local movie theater really isn’t anything to brag about. It’s you typical small town place. The screens are small, the sound quality is average, there are no cup holders in the arms of the chairs and no tiered seating. Matter of fact, you buy your ticket and just shove it in your pocket because you never have to show it again, that one threw me the first time I went there.
However, one thing this place has that I love and I take huge advantage of is that Tuesdays are BYOB. BYOB means Bring Your Own Bucket. You can bring your own bowl, no matter the size as long as it fits on your lap, and they fill it with popcorn for 50 cents (including butter)! I bring the biggest bowl in my house for this event. I barely skim the top but I bring it anyway because we will eat on it for days afterwards.
My date dumped me for tonight but I’m going to go anyway, by myself. Hey, a huge bowl of movie theatre popcorn and Matt Damon, I can’t turn it down.
If only I were in town…I’d love to go with you!
So how was the movie? David would love that popcorn deal! The man is all about popcorn, ice cream, and Diet Coke! There is just something about someone who goes to McD’s and orders a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal, and orders it with a Diet Coke! Is that kind of weird or what? You might as well just order the regular Coke! Oh well, that’s my David for you!
